Straight answers before you book
How long does a typical flooring installation take?
Most single rooms are done in a day. A whole-home LVP or laminate install of 1,000–1,500 sq ft usually runs two to four days, and a full tile bathroom takes about a week once demo, waterproofing and grout cure time are figured in. You get a real schedule before we start, not a guess.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. We move standard furniture as part of the job at no extra charge. We just ask that you clear breakables, electronics and closets ahead of time. Pianos, safes and oversized pieces we'll talk through during the estimate.
What's the difference between LVP and hardwood?
LVP (luxury vinyl plank) is a waterproof, layered plank that looks like wood and shrugs off spills, pets and kids — ideal for kitchens, basements and busy homes. Hardwood is real wood: warmer underfoot, refinishable for decades and a stronger resale feature, but it doesn't like standing water. We'll tell you honestly which fits your rooms and budget.
Are your materials waterproof?
Our LVP and the tile systems we install are waterproof when installed correctly — and that last part matters. Wet areas get proper substrate prep, cement board and waterproofing membrane before a single tile goes down. Hardwood and carpet are water-resistant at best, and we'll say so up front.
Do you offer free estimates?
Always. Estimates are free, in person, and come with a clear written number — no pressure and no sales pitch. Call or text (470) 503-6082, or send the form and we'll follow up within one business day.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Gainesville and work throughout Buford, Flowery Branch, Oakwood, Braselton, Cumming, Suwanee, Dawsonville and the surrounding North Georgia communities. Just outside that list? Call anyway — we travel for the right project.
Who will be on my job?
Christos, the owner, is on every job — measuring it, installing it and standing behind it. You're not handed off to a rotating crew, and you can reach him directly at (470) 503-6082 or christos@glazefloorcovering.com from start to finish.
