Our Story
It started with Florence Glaze, Buford, 1967
In 1967, Florence Glaze opened Glaze Tire in Buford — one of the first women-owned tire shops in the area. She ran it the way small-town businesses used to run: you gave people a fair price, you did the work right, and you looked them in the eye when you told them what it would cost.
Glaze Flooring & Tile carries that same name and the same standard into a different trade. Hard work, integrity, and showing up for your neighbors — those weren't slogans in her shop, and they aren't slogans here.
Owner-operated, on purpose
Christos is on the jobs. He measures them, installs them, and answers the phone when you call. That means nothing gets lost between a salesman's promise and a subcontractor's shortcut. If something isn't right, you're talking to the person who can fix it.
Craftsmanship as service
We believe the work itself is a form of service — that a shower pan sloped correctly and a plank layout planned before the first cut are ways of respecting the people who live in the house. Faith and craft point the same direction: do it as though it matters, because it does.
